Rosedean Cottage is a beautifully presented three bedroom detached home, which accommodates up to six people, plus a cot. The cottage has been completely renovated in 2006 to an immaculately high standard. We have just started our third season and have again be awarded a 4-star rating from VisitBritain as well as the 2009-10 EnjoyEngland Gold Award for "exceptional quality accommodation and customer service".
Rosedean is located in Clearwell, a beautiful village in the Forest of Dean.
Clearwell, named in the 13th century, means “the spring amongst the
clovers” and is found in the Wye Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
About two miles away flows the river through the famous Symonds Yat and past
Tintern Abbey, reaching the Severn estuary at
Chepstow.
Clearwell has several restaurants / pubs including The
Butchers Arms, The
Wyndham Arms , and The Tudor Farmhouse Hotel, featuring a romantic candlelit
restaurant.
